A man had to go to hospital after being attacked in Selby town centre.
It happened on Gowthorpe between 10.45pm and midnight on Friday 16 February.
A North Yorkshire Police spokesperson said: “The victim, a man in his 20s, was assaulted. Following the incident he was admitted to hospital.”
The suspect is described as
- white
- in his 20s
- between 5ft 11ins and 6ft tall
- with dark hair.
He was wearing a white shirt. There were several other men who were in company with the suspect who also witnessed the incident.
