Another pub has announced it has to close temporarily due to a Covid-19 infection.
The Marcia Inn in Bishopthorpe will be closed for a while as a precaution.
On its Facebook page this morning, the Marcia said: “Due to matters out of our control unfortunately we are closed with immediate affect until further notice.
“We will be back as soon as possible, in the meantime stay safe and we thank you all for your continued support during these most difficult and challenging times.”
When contacted by YorkMix the pub confirmed it was Covid related.
They said they were awaiting the decision as to when it could reopen.
The Marcia Inn is a multi award-winning country pub, well known for its home-cooked food.
We reported this morning that the Bay Horse on Blossom Street has had to close due to a Covid infection.
It is due to reopen this Thursday.
