Another static home has been gutted by fire on the same Selby road.
Emergency services were called to the caravan blaze on Flaxley Road at 9.26am.
Four crews from Selby, Tadcaster, York and Snaith, along with the aerial ladder from Huntington, went to the incident.
They said the static caravan was someone’s permanent home.
The blaze “resulted in severe fire, heat and smoke damage to the whole of the caravan and it’s contents”.
Six firefighters wore breathing apparatus and used three hose reel jets to put out the blaze.
The fire service says the cause is believed to be accidental.
It comes just two days after another caravan went up in flames off Flaxley Road.
That blaze started at 7.30am on Monday (11 September). Police were called in to investigate.
