A York woman who was reported missing has been found safe.
The last sighting of the 59-year-old was on Haxby Road at around 2pm yesterday (Wednesday).
Police issued an appeal to find her.
At 8.30am on Thursday, North Yorkshire Police issued this update: “Earlier today, we issued an appeal for assistance in locating a 59-year-old woman from York who had been missing since yesterday afternoon.
“We are pleased to report that she has been found safe and well today.
