“Hard work pays off for the staff and students studying Science at York High School. Standard passes (4+) were up by 12% and the strong passes 5+ were up by 7%.

“Humanities students prove that hard work pays off. Geography, history and religious studies have improved this year at York High School.
Congratulations in religious studies to Roscoe Dawson and the aptly named Angel Bottomley who all achieved a grade 9 with Jasmin Barker gaining a grade 8.
Special mention to Olivia Reeves Waite who smashed her estimated grade by 4 whole grades achieving a grade 7.
In history, 1 in 8 students achieved a prestigious grade 7+. In geography 9 students achieved a 7+: special mention to Colby Jackson Shepherd, Roscoe Dawson and Joe Pinder for grade 8s.”
