Police are appealing for witnesses after a road rage incident near Vangarde Shopping Park in York.
The incident happened on Jockey Lane close to the retail centre just after 1.15pm on Saturday (7 November).
It involved a man driving a grey Hyundai i10 and a woman driving a black Vauxhall Tigra. The man is alleged to have got out of his car and become aggressive towards the woman.
A North Yorkshire Police spokeswoman said: “We are requesting the public’s assistance to help establish the full circumstances surrounding the incident.
“In particular, we are appealing for information about the manner of driving of the cars and we are seeking witnesses and dashcam footage of the altercation.”
The man is described as
- white
- aged in his 40s
- of stocky build
- wearing a green beanie-type hat
- and light coloured sweater.
