Drivers are being given notice that a road next to the LNER Community Stadium will be closed regularly from now on.
The road west of the stadium will be closed at intervals between Friday, 21 March and Monday, 21 September 2026.
It affects the stretch from the Hollywood Bowl corner round past the Teamworks karting centre.
A notice from City of York Council states: “It is envisaged that the road will only be closed during sporting and entertainment events at York Stadium to ensure that safety of event attendees.
“The road will remain open at all other times. All road closures will be advertised on-street a minimum of 10 days in advance of any relevant events.”
