The YorkMix Radio team headed Ripon Racecourse for the ‘Animals’ Fancy Dress Family Day last Monday (7th August) and this year it was bigger and better than ever!
Plenty of things for the kids to do whilst everyone enjoys a day of racing including a bouncy castle and face painting – there was also hot donuts and ice cream!
We had Mixie the Monster come out to judge the fancy dress competition too which had an animal theme.
The winners were Jack the blow up cow and Scarlett who hopped around as Peter Rabbit!
