Actor Peter Capaldi was once arrested in connection with a bomb attack in York, he revealed this weekend.
The actor, who would later find worldwide fame as the Doctor in Doctor Who, was a teenager at the time.
Asked by The Guardian about his closest brush with the law, Capaldi said: “In 1975, in York (I must have been 17): there was a bomb explosion.

“It was 3am, I was with some pals and we were picked up by the police who, hearing our Scottish accents, seemed to connect us to the explosion.
“We were taken in for questioning, which was scary, but it didn’t take them long to suss out these fey youngsters were incapable of a bomb plot.”
It is not clear which explosion he is referring to. There was a terrorist attack at the Strensall army camp the year before.
On 11 June 1974, a bomb went off at the base, destroying the instruments and equipment of the Green Howards band.
The Green Howards were serving in Northern Ireland at the time.
