Police are warning residents that car thieves are operating in one area of York.
They have had ‘numerous reports’ of thefts from vehicles in Farro Drive, Clifton, and surrounding streets.
At around 3.45am on Sunday (19 January) two men have been seen stealing items from cars and attempting to get into others.

A North Yorkshire Police spokesperson said: “We’re particularly appealing for information and any doorbell footage which may show these two people in the area at the time of the incident.”
