Coinciding with the UN COP 26 climate conference in Glasgow, a new renewables company has just been launched in York – aiming to deliver expert advice and renewables installations throughout the UK.
Green Building Renewables is based in Dunnington, but aims to extend more widely across the UK, offering air source and ground source heat pumps, solar PV, solar battery storage, underfloor heating and electric vehicle charging points.
Chris Delaney of Green Building Renewables said the new enterprise was “a different type of renewables company.

“We understand the importance of an ‘energy efficiency first’ approach and work closely with Green Building Store to offer our clients a ‘whole house’ service.
“We won’t recommend heat pumps or renewable systems unless we think they are right for your property and we make sure that all systems are carefully modelled to meet your heating and energy needs.”
Green Building Renewables is a sister company to the Huddersfield-based low energy specialist company Green Building Store.
It aims to bring together the expertise of smaller expert renewable installation companies, starting with the long-established York-based company GoEco Renewables and builds on the GoEco team’s 20 years’ technical experience in the field.
