A new fleet of refuse trucks have taken to the roads of Thirsk and Easingwold – sporting several brand-new advertising banners.
The vehicles are promoting fly tipping and recycling messages as well as ‘Discover Hambleton’ – a social media campaign aimed at promoting the district.

The new trucks, which replaced five of the district council’s ageing fleet of trucks, took to the streets collecting household and green waste last month.
Cabinet Spokesperson, Councillor Stephen Watson (pictured) said “These new vehicles are fitted with the most up to date technology for our waste collectors – as well as being a great way of advertising our services and campaigns,”
