Huge congratulations go to all our students on their excellent outcomes in the summer exams and on recording another great set of GCSE results.”
No fewer than 86.6% of students gained a grade 4+ in English and maths with 65.6% achieving grade 5 or above. Altogether 145 (69%) students achieved one or more grade 7 which is the equivalent of an A grade in the previous system.
Another achievement – 40.5% of full course GCSE entries were at grade 7 or above with 40 students gaining at least 9 passes at grade 7 or above.
Sixteen students achieved an exceptional 5 or more passes at grade 9 with two students gaining the top grade of 9 in all 11 of their subjects.

These excellent results reflect the talent and hard work of our students, the support they have received from their families and, crucially, the excellent teaching and support provided by the staff within our school.
Today is another great day to be part of our Fulford community and to celebrate the successes of our students.
This well-deserved success creates an excellent basis for our students to build on in the future and it continues the excellent performances of the school in recent years.
As I step down as head teacher, I wish to congratulate all those in the school community and to wish them continued success in the years ahead.
Congratulations and well done to all involved. You have been a pleasure to work with and to know.
I wish all our students a great celebration with their friends and families.
