The North Yorkshire Moors Railway, which runs from Pickering to Whitby via Grosmont, has been forced to make changes to services due to the national rail strike.
It is one of the few heritage rail operations that runs partly on Network Rail tracks as well as its own.
The line from Grosmont to the seaside town is closed to all trains today.
Luke Hudman, from the railway, told us as they can’t use the tracks to Whitby they are running bus services instead to complete the connection from Pickering.
However there are still trains on the 18 miles of route across the moors and these will contniue to run between Pickering and Grosmont as usual this week.
