A blown fuse was to blame for a power cut that affected a small number homes in York overnight.
Altogether 28 homes in the Huntington area lost electricity for nearly sixty minutes in the early hours of this morning (Tuesday, May 15).
A spokeswoman for Northern Powergrid said: “The power cut was due to a fuse operation at the local substation.
“We were first made aware of the power cut at 12.38 am. Our engineers travelled to site and replaced the fuse, restoring power at 1.32 am this morning.”
