York police are appealing for the owners of some distinctive pottery to come forward after it was recovered during a recent property search.
Officers believe the items may have been stolen during a burglary and want to reunite them with the rightful owner.
The items include a floral dish in the shape of a tea-pot edged in gold, a floral trinket box, a blue, terracotta and white pot, and a silver and pearl brooch.
Anyone who has been the victim of burglary and believes the items are theirs, should contact North Yorkshire police on 101, select option 2 and ask for DC Adam Parkinson at York CID. Or email DC Parkinson here.
