Do you have burning questions you would like answered on topics such as roads, the environment, wind farms, education, health and social care?
Well here’s your chance – as the BBC Radio 4’s flagship current affairs programme Any Questions? will be broadcast live from the Milton Rooms in Malton on Friday 16 June.
And they’re looking for your questions.
Questions for the panel can be submitted on the day of the broadcast by dropping them into the Any Questions? box at the entrance to the Milton Rooms.
A total of ten questions will be chosen by a producer, with four to six of them included in the broadcast, and the panel – which is usually only announced on the night of broadcast – never sees the questions in advance.
The programme was first broadcast in 1948, and over the years many notable figures from the arts, science, business and law sectors have appeared as panellists – as well as every prime minister since Harold Wilson.
Any Questions? is currently presented by BBC News political reporter Alex Forsyth. About 1.59 million people listen to the programme each week.
Chairman of the Milton Rooms trustees, Ray King, said: ‘’We are delighted to welcome such a prestigious programme as the BBC’s Any Questions? to the Milton Rooms.
“We hope it will be a lively programme.’’
