Police want to trace York livestock owner after incident on common

Police want to trace the owner of livestock in Strensall.

It follows a potential sheep-worrying incident on Strensall Common.

A force spokesperson said: “North Yorkshire Police are appealing for information relating to the Strensall Common area of York following information received relating to a potential sheep worrying incident.

“Officers would like to speak with the owner of livestock in this area.”
