Police taped off a street in York city centre today (Friday).
The cordon was around North Street. Vehicles and pedestrians were being turned away.
A North Yorkshire Police spokesperson said it was to deal with a road traffic collision.
The cordon was lifted at about 11.45am.
We don’t have any details on casualties as yet, but will update when more information comes through.
North Street is home to York police station. The spokesperson said no police vehicles or staff were involved.
