Police have arrested a wanted York man.
Matthew Ambler was wanted for questioning about an assault.
Earlier officers shared this appeal.
A North Yorkshire Police spokesperson said: “Officers are currently carrying out extensive enquiries to find Matthew Ambler and are now asking members of the public to get in touch if they have seen him or know where he is now.”
They gave this update at 11.58am: “Earlier today we issued an appeal to help find a wanted 35-year-old man from York in relation to an assault.
“He has now been arrested and is police custody.
“Thank you to everyone who shared our appeal.”
