Police are trying to trace the owner of a dog after an incident in Knaresborough.
It happened between 7.30pm and 8.30pm on Tuesday 30 April.
A member of the public was bitten by a dog which is described as a Rottweiler.
A North Yorkshire Police spokesperson said: “We are appealing for any witnesses or for the owner of the dog to make contact so we can discuss the incident.”
