Police looking for a wanted man in York have appealed for the public’s help to find him.
Wesley Glover, aged, 21, of Reid Park, Haxby, is wanted for recall to prison after breaching the terms of his release licence.
Glover was sentenced to 14 months in prison following an offence of wounding in April 2012 and his poor behaviour since his release means he must return to custody.
Officers have released an image of Glover and are urging the public to report any sightings of him.
He is described as white, around 5ft 10in tall, with a medium build, brown hair and blue eyes.
Inspector Rob Thorpe, of York police, said: “Wesley Glover is well aware that he is in breach of his licence conditions and must return to prison.
“He is not willing to face up to this outcome, therefore we have to go looking for him.
“Our searches will cause some disruption for his family and friends but Glover is in control of this and handing himself in will make things easier for everyone.
“If you know where Wesley Glover is or see him around, please contact the police or Crimestoppers as soon as possible.”
Anyone who can help officers with their enquiries is urged to contact North Yorkshire Police on 101 – select option 1 – and pass information to the Force Control Room.
If you wish to remain anonymous, Crimestoppers can be contacted on 0800 555 111.
