Cars in York have been smashed, keyed, and vandalised in recent days, with potential links to a disturbing online network associated with Satanism and neo-Nazism.
One York woman discovered her car severely damaged on Sunday afternoon (9 June) in the Clifton area. The windows were smashed and the message ‘764 SEA’ was scratched into the bonnet.
After she shared the details on Facebook to appeal for information, it emerged that other vehicles had been targeted in the Kingsway area.
Another incident occurred on Sunday evening in Clifton. A Lilbourne Drive resident woke up on Monday to find their car destroyed.
All of the windows had been smashed, and a chilling note that read, “Apocalypse 764” was left behind.

With both cars marked by references to ‘764’, it is believed the same perpetrator may be behind the attacks.
Poilce say at least six vehicles have been vandalised.
The number 764 is the name given to an organisation classed as a “Satanic neo-Nazi transnational sextortion network” that is classed as a terror network by the United States, according to Wikipedia. More about it below.
‘It’s getting worse’
One local resident from Kingsway North believes the recent acts of vandalism could be linked to the racist incident that took place just days before.
As previously reported on 4 June, a racist abused a York woman in her own home on Kingsway North.
The bare chested man, shouted racial abuse and threats at the lone woman resident. He then damaged her car by throwing a fence post at it.
“There was also a van smashed up the other night too, it’s just getting worse around here at the moment,” the resident told YorkMix.

A North Yorkshire Police spokesperson said: “We’re appealing for information after several parked vehicles were damaged in the Clifton area of York.
“We’ve had reports of at least six vehicles being vandalised, including windows smashed or offensive symbols scratched into paintwork.
“The incidents mainly took place overnight from Saturday 7 into Sunday 8 June.
“Officers from York Neighbourhood Policing Team have increased patrols in the affected area. Residents are being urged to check any dashcam, CCTV or video doorbell systems for signs of suspicious behaviour. If your vehicle has suffered damage, please report it to North Yorkshire Police.”
