Police are asking parents to tell their children about ‘stranger danger’ after reports that two men tried to entice a schoolgirl into their car.
Officers have received a report that the men, driving a silver car, approached the girl on Tedder Road in Foxwood, at 3.20pm on Thursday (30 March).
The girl was on her way home from school.

She ran and sought help from an adult nearby.
The only details police have is that the men were Asian and driving a silver car.
“Can all parents please take this time to remind their children of stranger danger?” said PCSO Nathan Brigham of Acomb police station.
“North Yorkshire Police will be showing an increased presence in the area over the coming days.
“We will also be continuing our inputs in local schools stranger danger and awareness.”
