A 14-year-old girl missing from her York home has been found safe and well.
We reported that police were becoming very concerned about the girl’s welfare after she was last seen in the Foxwood area of York at around 8.30am this morning (Sunday, 21 May).
They issued an appeal to find her, along with a picture and a description.
The good news came at 4.20pm when police tweeted: “Earlier today we issued an appeal to find a missing 14-year-old girl from York.
“We’re very pleased to report that she has been found safe and well.
“Thank you to everyone who shared our appeal or called in with information.”
