Last month we reported how a mass brawl had broken out in the grounds of a York pub and hotel.
Police investigating the incident are now trying to locate a vital witness.
The disturbance took place in the Judge’s Lodging beer garden on Lendal on the afternoon of Saturday, October 22.
Officers responded to reports that a group of around 20 people were fighting in the grounds and in the street outside the hotel at around 1.30pm.
Important information
Detectives are appealing for a specific, potential witness to come forward.
A man and two or three young children, one with a pink rucksack, were sitting outside the Judge’s Lodging at the time of the disturbance.
The man went into the pub leaving the children in the seats in the outside area and it was whilst he was inside the pub that the disturbance took place.
Officers want to trace the man as he could have important information which could help the investigation.
The man and anyone else that could help the investigation is asked to contact North Yorkshire Police.
