A man was subjected to a late night attack in a bar in York city centre.
Police investigating the incident are now appealing for witnesses.
It happened at around midnight between Sunday 17 and Monday 18 March in Revolution York on Coney Street.
A North Yorkshire Police spokesperson said: “We are investigating an incident of an alleged assault where a young male has been restrained and thrown to the floor.
“Do you have any information which would assist North Yorkshire Police in finding those responsible and help keep your community safe?
