A woman was sexually assaulted near the river in Boroughbridge – and police are appealing for witnesses.
It happened during the afternoon on Thursday 19 June, near to the River Ure in the Aldborough area.
The victim was sexually assaulted by a man unknown to her.
The man is described as
- white
- between 30 to 40 years old
- wearing light brown/tan shorts
- a blue top
- and black hoody or jacket.
A North Yorkshire Police spokesperson said: “We’re particularly appealing for information from people who may have been in the area at the time, and who could assist with identifying the man.”
