An investigation is underway into the death of a man at a farm near York.
The man, aged 28, died in what is being described as an industrial accident.
He was servicing a telehandler machine when the incident occurred.
It happened at about 10.40am on Thursday, 19 October.
A North Yorkshire Police spokesperson said: “North Yorkshire Police and the Health and Safety Executive are investigating the death of a 28-year-old man from Northallerton who was involved in an industrial accident at a farm at Moor Monkton.
“Enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances surrounding the death and a report will be submitted to the coroner in due course.”
A HSE spokesperson said: “We are aware of this incident and currently assisting the North Yorkshire Police investigation.”
