Police are appealing for witnesses to an incident at one of the York branches of Tesco.
It happened at the Clifton Moor store around 8.30pm on Monday (2 August).
A store security guard and manager were involved in an altercation with two men.

A North Yorkshire Police spokesperson said: “We are requesting the public’s assistance to help establish the full circumstances surrounding the incident.
“In particular, we are appealing for information about the identity of the two men involved.”
One man is described as:
- white
- around 5ft 9in tall
- in his 20s
- with dark hair that is short on the sides and longer on top
- wearing a dark blue tracksuit and jumper
- with white stripes on the sleeves
- and black trainers.
The second man is
- around 5ft 11in tall
- with dark hair
- wearing a plain dark blue jumper
- and tracksuit bottoms.
The two men left the shop on bikes.
