Police are investigating after a person was bitten by a dog on a busy York street.
It happened at around 5.10pm last Friday (9 February) when the victim was walking their dog on New Lane, Huntington.
A man and a woman were with their two dogs on the same street.

The dogs were off the leash. They bit the victim’s dog, and when the victim intervened to protect their pet, they were bitten too.
A North Yorkshire Police spokesperson said: “Anyone who can assist officers with their investigation into the events surrounding this incident are urged to contact police with information.”
