Police hunting sex offender with links to York who is ‘a danger to women’

Police are asking anyone who sees this man to call 999.

He is Stephen Thrower, a convicted sex offender.

He was due in court in connection with failing to stick to the requirements of his sex offenders registration, but he didn’t turn up and a warrant has been issued for his arrest.

The 53-year-old has numerous tattoos including a swallow, eagle, tiger and dagger on his right arm.

Thrower has links to York, Harrogate and Bradford, but could be working as a fairground worker.

West Yorkshire Police said yesterday that he is described as a danger to women and should not be approached.
