Detectives in York hunting a wanted man are asking for public’s help to locate him.
Rocky Lee Allen, 20, is wanted in connection with an incident of wounding in York.
The attack took place on Saturday 5 October 2013, when a 28-year-old man suffered serious but non life threatening injuries.
Allen is described as being a white man, 6ft tall, thin build with short dark brown hair.
He has ties within York and the surrounding areas.
Detective Sergeant Mark Jackson, of York CID, said “Rocky, this criminal investigation will not go away. Police officers throughout North Yorkshire and the surrounding areas are actively seeking to arrest you. My advice to you is to make yourself available to the police by attending your nearest police station. We will not stop looking for you.
“I would also like to warn anyone who is shielding Allen that they are not helping him and in fact may be committing a criminal offence themselves, for which they may face arrest.”
Detective Sergeant Jackson, added: “If anyone sees Rocky Allen, has information as to where he is or those that are shielding him, they should contact the police or Crimestoppers straight away.”
