Two men were found hiding in the attic by police during a drugs raid in York.
Officers from the York Neighbourhood Policing Team were acting on information about suspected drugs offences in the Tang Hall area.
On 10 November, they targeted the property.
A North Yorkshire Police spokesperson said: “They attended a property and inside located two men in the attic.
“Both were arrested – one was later charged with possessing cannabis, the other with obstructing police by giving false details. Further enquiries are ongoing.”
The two have been charged to York Magistrates’ Court.
The spokesperson added: “Illegal drugs will not be tolerated in our city.”
