Police have been targeting troublemakers in a York street today (Sunday).
They were out in force in Walmgate in response to calls about anti-social behaviour.
One person has been summonsed to court for an offence.
Neighbourhood Policing Sergeant Toby Gorwood said: “We have been out all morning in Walmgate in response to problems yesterday afternoon and the wider city centre and prevented a number of issues from developing this morning into offences.
“We have also reported one individual for summons for urinating in a public place.”
