Police in the Foxwood area of York have spent another evening dealing with anti social behaviour (ASB).
It came after patrols by York police were stepped up. Officers say parents must remember they have a responsibility too.
Last night they received a number of youth related ASB reports into the force control room.
The log of incidents included:
- Youths throwing items at a house window – Youths located and spoken to in front of guardians.
- Youths starting a fire on Foxwood Park. Fire Service dealt with it. Youths ran off upon police arriving. Unfortunately nobody responsible was identified.
- Youths causing issues and noise around flats. No youths there when police arrived.
- Youths attempting to enter the rear garden of an empty property. No youths found in the area. No damage caused. Upon checking CCTV no ID of the youths was possible.

The message from the police was this on Twitter.
“Parents! What we are asking of you is that you know where your children are and what they are doing. It is not just our responsibility to tackle the ASB in Foxwood. You have a responsibility too.”
