York police are appealing for witnesses to the way a car was being driven around Tang Hall on Sunday night (August 30).

Officers responded to a call at around 6pm about the behaviour of a man on Hewley Avenue.

They arrested a 22-year-old man on suspicion of drink driving.

Police would now like to hear from anyone who saw a white Honda Civic car being driven in Tang Hall area – or who has any other information about the incident.
