Police investigating racist graffiti daubed on a York shop have launched an appeal for information today (Tuesday).
As YorkMix reported, the Costcutter on Bramham Road in Chapelfields was daubed with hugely offensive graffiti.
The hate-related criminal damage happened at around 2.40am on 28 March.
A North Yorkshire Police spokesperson said: “The paint was brushed onto walls and shutters. After seeing it, the local community rallied round to help remove it.
“A full investigation was launched at the time and we are now issuing a public appeal for any further information.”
