Police appeal after man found dead in York

Police have issued an appeal after a man was found dead in York.

Victor Garek, 66, was found dead at his home in York yesterday (Sunday).

He is also known to have lived in the Scarborough area.

North Yorkshire Police are asking anyone who knows Mr Garek’s next of kin to contact the coroner.
