Police have appealed for the public’s help after a ‘disgusting incident’ on a North Yorkshire road.
It happened on Leeming Lane near Boroughbridge.
North Yorkshire Police posted on social media: “Disgusting incident!

“On Tuesday 30 July at 6.08pm a passenger of white VW Polo or Golf spat into the face of victim when passing.
“The incident occurred on Leeming Lane, Langthorpe”
They asked anyone with information to contact police on 101 and quote reference 12240136667.
