Police are appealing for witnesses to a crash which has left a motorcyclist with serious injuries.
We reported on New Year’s Day that a crash had closed the A64.
It happened 4.30pm at the junction with the B1258 Yedingham Road. A white Toyota car and a Kawasaki motorcycle collided.

North Yorkshire Police issued this update today: “The rider of the motorcycle, a 62 year old woman from Scarborough, suffered multiple serious injuries and was airlifted to hospital where she remains in a serious but stable condition.
“The driver of the Toyota, a 71 year old male from Ryedale was not injured.”
Any witnesses to the collision or who saw either vehicle prior to it occurring or who have dashcam footage are asked to contact police on the numbers below.
