More than £20,000 was raised for charity at A Night To Remember on Thursday night (April 13).
Organised by Ian Donaghy, and featuring musicians including Chris Helme, Jess Steel, Heather Findlay, Boss Caine, Beth McCarthy, Hands & Voices, and Ian’s daughter Annie, it was a spectacular success.
Half the money raised will go to St Leonard’s Hospice, with the rest being divided between dementia schemes in York including the Secret Garden project, the Vocal Flourish choir and the Harmony Cafe.
You can still donate by going to the Just Giving page here.
A film edited by Kev Curran and Liam Powers of Inspired Youth, devised by Ian Donaghy and featuring children from Carr Junior School raising dementia awareness, was shown during the evening too.
