Prepare your tastebuds – York Food Festival is here!
The York Food & Drink Festival is always a highlight in the York event calendar, and it’s back for more foodie fun.
From street food to live demonstrations, to music and tastings – there’s something for everyone.
The York Food Festival takes place from Friday 22 September to Sunday 1 October. The main action will take place on Parliament Street and St Sampsons Square.
YorkMix is delighted to be sponsoring the York Food Festival Schools Programme & Food Factory.
Breakfast show hosts Laura and Leigh – and Mixie Monster – will be joining the schools of York and North Yorkshire at the food factory cookery workshops at Museum Gardens, Coppergate Centre and St Crux Church, trying things like making bread and pasta.
And over evenings and weekends across the festival you can take your kids down and go take part too. All the workshops are open to all ages and held at the Museum Gardens, and St. Crux Hall.
These are totally free – no booking required just turn up: find out more here.
