A long-running North Yorkshire store has closed after 20 years.
Homebase in Selby held its final shopping day yesterday (Saturday).
The DIY chain collapsed into administration last November and put many of its stores up for sale, including the one at the Three Lakes Retail Park.
Bargain hunters visiting the Selby store yesterday were faced with many empty shelves.
Some areas of the store were already cleared out and cordoned off. It was a sad end to one of the founding brands of Three Lakes.
However, the store will come back in a new guise next month.

Company CDS Superstores, which owns both The Range and Wilko, bought the Homebase brand and many of its branches, including the one in Selby, at the end of last year.
The group plans to reopen the town’s store as The Range next month. According to the website it is due to open on Friday, 7 March.
Staff from Homebase will be kept on and run the Range.
