This was the scene at a busy York junction on Saturday lunchtime.
A lorry crashed into a lamppost in the central reservation on the York ring road.
The accident happened at the Monks Cross roundabout at Huntington on the A1237 ring road after 11am on today (Saturday, 14 March).
Police and fire crews went to the scene.
The front of the articulated wagon was damaged by the impact, and the lamppost is bent over at an angle.
No one has been hurt in the accident.
Police cordoned off sections of the road and roundabout. Officers directed traffic around the accident, which didn’t cause significant traffic disruption.
