Forestry England are celebrating the Gruffalo’s 25th birthday with a brand new family trail.
The organisation have launched the special trail all over England – including at North Yorkshire location Dalby Forest.
The interactive family trail will feature party-themed activities and games, meet the Gruffalo and other characters, and give the Gruffalo a birthday to remember.
The popular British children’s picture book by Julia Donaldson and illustrated by Axel Scheffler was first published in March 1999.
Visitors will be able to search for balloons, pine cones, apples and more on the trail while completing fun activities along the way.
The Gruffalo Party Trail pack, available to purchase from the Visitor Centre for £4, will include everything you need for your party adventure.
Inside you’ll find:
- craft bag to colour in
- party headband to wear
- party trail activity leaflet
- stickers
- pencil and crayon
- keepsake sew-on Gruffalo Party patch
