Paramedics have to treat York boy, 16, after gang attack him and steal his bike
A boy needed treatment by paramedics after he was attacked by a gang of youths.
The incident happened at around 6.40pm on Saturday (4 February) on Cornlands Road.
A 16-year-old boy stopped near to the entrance of the park to fix the chain on his bike when he was approached by three boys thought to be a similar age.
They then attacked him and stole his bike. The attack resulted in the boy suffering a concussion and receiving treatment from Yorkshire Ambulance Service.
The three boys were all wearing dark clothing and had their faces covered. The bike that was stolen is a white Carrera Hustle 2 mountain bike with blue detailing, as pictured below.
Officers would like to hear from anyone who was in the area of Cornlands Road at the time of the incident, who saw anything suspicious or the incident itself.
They’d particularly like to speak to anyone who may have captured dash cam or doorbell footage of the incident, or the suspects running away from the scene with the bike.
