The team at York Mumbler have created a fun and free Goblin Trail at Rowntree Park for families this October half term.
The activity trail will run from Saturday, 24 October to Saturday, 31 October. There will be things to spot and quiz questions to answer along the way and is ideal for families looking for something a bit different this Halloween.
There will be a series of spooky themed goblin houses for children to spot and collect clues to complete the trail. The trail has been developed with Holly Davies at Yorkshire Brand Stories and sponsored by Little Green Rascals.
York Mumbler founder and mum-of-two Emily Pickard said: “Helping families in York has always been the primary goal at York Mumbler.
“When fellow Mumbler team member Holly Davies pitched the idea to use the goblin houses created by her mum I knew the families of York would love it!”

The goblin houses have been constructed using found materials and are brightly painted and decorated.
“The Friends of Rowntree Park are excited to be involved with the York Mumbler Halloween Goblin Trail and are overjoyed to host the Goblin Houses,” said Emily.
“We hope those goblins don’t get up to too much mischief, we need the children to keep an eye on them!
“A wonderful way to mark this ‘spooktacular’ time of the year in a safe and non- crowded way, where you can do the trail in your own time.”
As well as the goblin trail there will be lots of other goblin-themed activities for kids on the York Mumbler website.
