An outbuilding was set on fire in a North Yorkshire village last night (Tuesday).
Two Malton crews and volunteers from Goathland went to the blaze at Newton on Rawcliffe, north of Pickering.
They found the wooden building with a metal sheet roof, which measured 12m by 4m, well alight.

A North Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service spokesperson said: “The fire caused 100% fire damage to the building and contents, which included three ride-on lawn mowers.
“The cause is believed to be deliberate. Crews used four hose reels, thermal imaging camera and small tools to extinguish the fire.”
