The star of Our Yorkshire Farm is coming to York – one of the big names lined up for the return of the York Literature Festival.
Amanda Owen is author of four bestselling books in the Yorkshire Shepherdess series.
And millions of viewers tuned in to watch Our Yorkshire Farm on Channel 5, documenting the life of her family running a farm in the Dales.

Amanda will be in conversation with BBC Radio York’s Elly Fiorentini at St Peter’s School on Sunday March 20. Tickets are £12 – more details here.
News of her visit came as York Literature Festival unveiled its programme for the 2022 event, which runs from Friday 18 to Sunday 27 March.
Several other famous names are among the guests including Alexander McCall Smith, most famous for his No 1 Ladies’ Detective Agency series.
Thriller writer Val McDermid will be in York discussing her work which explores the underbelly of Scotland.
Journalist and columnist Simon Jenkins will be talking about his book, Europe’s 100 Best Cathedrals, and the festival will be opened with Booker-prize nominee Sarah Hall in conversation at York St John University.
